Andrew Charles Gatlin, Jr., 84, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013.  He was born on January 9, 1929, in Abeline, to Minnie Baker Gatlin and Andrew Charles Gatlin, Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Gatlin; daughters, Cynthia Gatlin and Sharon Eaves and her husband, James, all of Lumberton; and grandchildren, Kayla and Kelli Gatlin; and Diane, Kevin, and Austin Hargrove.  He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Greg Gatlin; and brother, Roy Cox.

A gathering of Mr. Gatlin’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His graveside service will be 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Ford Cemetery, Newton.
