Aubrey Rife Kimler

Aubrey
Rife Kimler, 92, of Nederland, passed away peacefully Monday, July 15, 2013,
with family in attendance. Born on December 4, 1920, in Fort Worth to William
Rife and Luticha Mozelle McWhorter Kimler, he was a longtime resident of Nederland.
Mr. Kimler was a United States Marine from 1942-1946, having served in the
Pacific during World War II, and later worked as a carpenter with Gulf/Chevron
for thirty-nine and a half years before retiring in 1985.
Survivors
include his children, A.R. “Randy” Kimler and his wife, Janice, Reagan Ann
Martin, and Rife Scott Kimler; grandchildren, Robert Neel and his
wife, Juliana, Richard Ryan Neel, Daniel Davis Kimler, Andrew Rife Kimler, Devon
Rife Kimler, Colton Douglas Kimler and Hailey Brenna Kimler; and
great-grandchildren, Hanna Katherine and Haley Louise Neel.
He
is preceded in death by his parents; and the love of his life, Virginia Little
Kimler.
A
gathering of Mr. Kimler’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.,
Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street,
Nederland. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 19,
2013, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Aubrey’s name to Humane
Society of Southeast Texas, P.O. Box 1629, Beaumont, Texas 77704.
