Philip Doughty Jr., 60 of Beaumont, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, Beaumont. He was born on September 12, 1952, to Lorena Sublette Doughty and Philip Hardtner Doughty, Sr. in Beaumont.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Teresa Doughty; children, Timothy Smith, Aaron Doughty and Karina Doughty; grandchildren, Spencer Smith, Jonboy Smith, Jazmine Ledet, Madeline Doughty, Jordan Ledet and Jayleigh Doughty; great-granddaughter, Averie Smith; and his German Shepherd, Veda.

A gathering of Mr. Doughty’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
