Lewis “Lou” Dale Kitzmiller, 62, of Beaumont, died at home Wednesday, July 3, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on November 9, 1950, to Doris Ellen Kenyon Kitzmiller and Harold Dale Kitzmiller in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Lou served in the United States Navy and was a Merchant Marine for over thirty years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Suzie Kitzmiller; parents; and brother-in-law, Chris Wildberger.

Survivors include his four children; four grandchildren; and many other family members and loving friends.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, Beaumont, with a committal service to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s.
