Jack R. Branwell, 89, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, July, 3, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on January 9, 1924, to Helen Redmon Branwell and John Branwell, in Flint, Michigan, and had been a long time resident of this area. Jack was a United States Coast Guard veteran having served in World War II.

Survivors include his daughters, Pamela Lockler of Beaumont and Marykay Ward of Knoxville, Tennessee; son, Patrick Branwell of Black Diamond, Washington; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elsie Branwell; and son, Dennis Branwell.

A gathering of Mr. Branwell’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, DC, at a later date. His cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
