Sharon Marcelle Peavy Shores, 66, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on January 7, 1947, to Billie Marie Choate Peavy and Frank Welburn Peavy.

Survivors include her son, Cory Glach; and grandchildren, Kaylee Glach and Cameron Glach, all of Middleburg, Florida; brothers, W.L. Peavy of Houston, Jimmy Peavy of Beaumont, and Jerry Peavy of Friendswood.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Mass for Ms. Shores’ will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2013, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson, Beaumont.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
