Bernice L. Kliem Gore, 80, of Kountze, died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.  She was born on August 15, 1932, in El Campo, to Louise Meyer Kliem and Max E. Kliem, Sr., and had been a resident of Kountze since 1992.  Bernice was a retired bookkeeper with K-Mart in Houston.

Survivors include her children, Ronald Wayne Gore and his wife, Nong, of Splendora; Glenn Edwin Gore and Martha, of Huffman; and Sharon Denise Gore of Spring; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dudward Wayne Gore; and siblings, Laverne Kliem, Delores Kliem Van Dessel, Verlene Key, Dale Key, Ed Key, and Merle Key.

A gathering of Mrs. Gore’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
