Sylvester “Junior” Moore, Jr., 64, of Nederland, died Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.  Born March 12, 1949, in Converse, Louisiana, he was the son of Wilma Rachel Webb Moore and Sylvester Moore, Sr.  Junior was a United States Army veteran and was retired from Huntsman Texaco.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Moore of Beaumont, Brandy Moore and Patricia Handel and her husband, Barrett, all of Nederland; sister, Carolyn Joffrion of Nacogdoches; brothers, Larry Moore and his wife, Mary Beth, of Conroe and Charles Moore and his wife, DeeDee, of Port Neches; aunt and uncle, Helen Webb and her husband, Troy, of Noble, Louisiana; grandchildren Alexa Poore of Beaumont and Kiplyn Garner of Nederland; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mr. Moore’s parents preceded him in death.

A memorial service for Mr. Moore will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
