Brad Capps, 62, of Lufkin, died Friday, June 28, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Lufkin.  He was born on February 2, 1951, to Alice Virginia Ellis Capps and Frank T. Capps. He was a longtime member of Wildwood-Village Mills United Methodist Church.

Survivors include cousins, Susan Bowen Manne and her husband, Ronald, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Joanne Bowen and her husband, John E. Moravetz, of Willamsburg, Virginia; Kathleen Bowen Noer and her husband, Hal, of Frederick, Maryland; Charles Murray Bowen of Seattle, Washington; and James Roy Holder and his wife, Kathy, of Kyle.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Capps’ family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Wildwood-Village Mills United Methodist Church, 5943 FM 3063, Village Mills.  Interment will follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
