Orville Dean Dombrosky 
January 30, 1930 - June 25, 2013

 

Orville Dean Dombrosky, 83, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He was born on  January 30, 1930, to Winnie and Frank Dombrosky in Chicago, Illinois, and had been a resident of the area most of his life. He worked as a supervisor with Gulf Oil for thirty-five years and retired in 1986. Orville was a member of Cosmopolitan Lodge #872, Port Arthur. He enjoyed traveling, photography, and loved spending time with his family. Most of all he had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

 

He is survived by his wife, Rita Dombrosky of Port Arthur, sons, Frank Walter and his wife, Laurie; Orville Dean II and his wife, Debbie; and Troy Van, all of Nederland; step-daughters, Gayle Rayborn Reynolds and her husband, Duane, of Colleyville and Brenda Rayborn Anderson of Southlake; grandchildren, Rachel, Christopher, Sarah, Josh, Allyson, Bethany, Ian, and Emma; and great-grandchildren, Jarod, Jacob, Jaxon, Drake, Kolt, and Kinsley.

 

Orville is preceded in death by his parents.

 

A gathering of Mr. Dombrosky’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
