Linda Marie Sistrunk, 64, of Beaumont, died Friday, June 14, 2013.  She was born on October 25, 1948, in Beaumont, to Mary Alice Miller Imhoff and Frank James Imhoff.

Linda was a fan of scary movies and she loved to read and write poetry.  Her favorite pass time was spending time with her family, especially at Christmas; her favorite time of the year.  Linda loved everyone she met and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, William “Billy” Dean Sistrunk, II and his wife, Patti, of Pooler, Georgia; daughter, Haley Marie McDonald and her husband, Greg, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Lauryn Elizabeth Morrison and her husband, Matthew, of Houston; Kathryn Michelle McDonald of Silsbee; and Sophia Marie Sistrunk and William Dean Sistrunk, III, both of Pooler, Georgia; sisters, Evelyn Ruth Gilbert of Atascocita; JoJo Crutchfield and her husband, Joe, of Fannett; and Mary Morgan of Sunrise, Arizona.  She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Michael James Imhoff.

A gathering of Mrs. Sistrunk’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.  Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 17, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
