Alayna D. Baker Van Dorn, 34, of Lumberton, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on July 28, 1978, in Silsbee, to Vicki Beck Baker and Jim Baker, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.

Alayna is survived by her husband, Keith Van Dorn; children, Madison Van Dorn and Katie Van Dorn, all of Lumberton; parents, Vicki and Jim Baker; and grandfather, Junior Baker and his wife, Martha, all of Silsbee; and sister, Kimberly Bunde and her husband, Joshua, of Montgomery.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Marie Baker and Maxine and Duane Beck.  

A gathering of Alayna’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, 191 East Highway 327, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, with interment to follow at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
