Kenneth Wayne Bell 
April 24, 1942 - June 5, 2013

Kenneth Wayne Bell, 71, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on April 24, 1942, to Olivia Holley Bell and John Phillip Bell. Kenneth was a United States Army veteran, having served in the military during the Vietnam Era and was a retired long haul truck driver.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Shawnté Lynette Amanze of Austin and Angela Bell-McDonald of Austin; three grandchildren; sisters, Judith Ann Collins and Patricia Rose Rinehardt, both of San Antonio, Martha Jo Brown and Reneé Lewis, both of Beaumont; brothers, Ronald Craig Bell of Beaumont and Stephen Randall Bell of Dallas; stepson, Matthew Lucas; and stepdaughter, Nikki Lucas, both of Huntington, West Virginia.

 

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Phillip Barton Bell and Michael Dean Bell.

 

A gathering of Mr. Bell’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with his Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
