Robert Edward Dewees, 46, of Winnie, died Friday, May 17, 2013.  He was born on July 17, 1966, in Beaumont, to Mary Mire Dewees and Ray Dewees.  Mr. Dewees worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and playing computer games.

He is survived by his sons, Dustin Dewees of Lumberton and Dylan Dewees of Vidor; brothers, Charles Ray Dewees of Houston; Earl William Dewees, Sr. of Port Acres; Ray Ellison Dewees, Jr. of Port Acres; and David L. Dewees of LaBelle.

A graveside service for Mr. Dewees will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Avenue, Winnie.
