Rebecca “Becky” Cole, 64, of Buna, died Thursday, May 16, 2013.  She was born on September 25, 1948, in Port Arthur, to Elise Provost Pate and Lonnie Pate.

Becky grew up in Bridge City.  Growing up, she had a horse named Star, which she loved very much. Becky loved telling joke, making people laugh, dancing, and tending to her flowers. She was a wonderful cook and she always had plenty for all to eat!  Ms. Becky was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.  

Survivors include her daughter, Shona Clark and her husband, Randall; sons, Lonnie Anthony and his wife, Sandy; James Anthony and his wife, Norma; and Lewis Anthony and his wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Kelly Anthony, Dilan Anthony, Courtney Willis, Aaron Anthony, Nona Anthony, Randall Anthony, Keith Clark, Joseph Clark, and Lane Clark; great-grandchildren, Tyler Clark, Katy Clark, Colt Clark, Braden Anthony, Emily Anthony, and Kaden Anthony; sisters, Suzette Broussard and her husband, Jean Steinhart, of Houston and Priscilla Bonin and her husband, Kenneth, of Fernley, Nevada; brother, Herman Pate of Houston; aunts, Berniece Pierce of Houston and Annabelle Fanguy of Tallahassee, Florida; nieces and nephews, Cheryl Roquemore, Kenny Bonin, Jr., Brandon Bonin, Brandy Williams, Wesley Bonin, Matthew Broussard, Michelle NeSmith, Seth Trahan, and Sean Pate; and several cousins, and great nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Mrs. Cole’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Central Baptist Church, 33814 Highway 96 South, Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2013, at the church, with interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
