Linda Jean Babineaux, 61, of Ivanhoe, died Monday, May 13, 2013. She was born on June 6, 1951, in Port Arthur, to Alice Blackmon and Dalton Babineaux, Sr., and had been a longtime resident of the area. Linda was a massage therapist with The Cottage, Woodville.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Landry of Ivanhoe; daughter, Krystal Sasser; and son, Kaanan Landry and his wife, Meg, all of Groves; sister, Cherise Emerson and her husband, Tim, of Nederland; granddaughters, Brittainey Myers, Elyce Cable, and Presley Landry; grandsons, Drew Emerson, Dylan Emerson, and Dakota Emerson; great-grandchild, Jayden Myers; and brothers, Danny Babineaux and his wife, Charlene, of Vidor and Dalton Babineaux, Jr. and his wife, Myra, of Nederland.

A memorial service for Mrs. Babineaux will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Journey Community Church, 1534 Highway 96 South, Lumberton.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s, Crematorium, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
