Janet Sue Wheeler, 57, of Hillister, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Dogwood Trails Manor, Woodville. She was born on March 20, 1956, in Beaumont, to Velma Virginia Bryan and Harry Lee Castilaw, and had been a longtime resident of the area. Janet was a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

She is survived by her children, Virginia Lee-Ann Wheeler of Hillister and Angela Michelle Horne and her husband Daniel,  of Austin; grandchildren, Kade Overstreet, Kenasyn Overstreet, Briley Horne, Reagan Horne, Piper Horne, and Trinity Horne; sister, Sheila Kane and her husband Rocky; and nephews, Taylor and Brady Kane.

Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Wheeler.

A graveside service for Mrs. Wheeler will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
