Dylan Karl Avery, 20, of Lumberton, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, the result of an automobile accident.  Dylan was born on April 8, 1993, to Michelle Abshire LeBlanc, (deceased) and Leslie Karl Avery.

Survivors include his loving grandparents, Ronald and Murrell Avery; great-uncle, Gerald Wayne Avery; aunt, Rhonda Avery Fortenberry; cousins, Lane Fortenberry, and Katie Fortenberry, all of Lumberton; Wesley Davis and his wife, Breanna, and their four sons,  Skyler, Brycen, Preston, and Grayson, all of Venus, Texas; and Steven and Lisa Avery of Plano; uncle, Ron Fortenberry of Beach City, Texas; maternal grandparents, Allen and Laura Abshire of Port Arthur; great-aunts, Ila Brooks of Beaumont, and Jessie and Cheryl Bernal; and cousins, Dara and Hannah, all of Groves.

A gathering of Dylan’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
