James Lee Stone, 72, of Kountze, died Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was born on January 14, 1941, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Ruth and Ernest Stone, and was a longtime resident of Kountze. James was a retired driver for a medical supply company.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Stone; children, Tammy Holliday and her husband, John, Ohio; Michelle Stone of Ohio; Rusty Stone and his wife, Nancy, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Lee Stone of Ohio, Mike Stone of Ohio; Shelly Stone and her husband, Talyon Sangwin of Kountze, Jeff Roden and his wife Amy Smith, of Silsbee; and David Roden of Silsbee; and grandchildren, Kennedy Roden, David Roden, Devin Sangwin, Treston Stone, Jamie Hill, and Chance Hill.
A private family committal for Mr. Stone will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530West Monroe, Kountze.
