George Alan Conner, 59, of Beaumont, died Saturday, April 27, 2013.  A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on November 3, 1953, to Dorothy Brewton Conner and Lucious Conner.  George was a supervisor with Gulf Copper.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Linda Conner; children, Todd Conner of Vidor; Tammi Westbrooks and her husband, Jerald; and Tanya McGaha, both of Beaumont; grandchildren, Shawn McGaha, Dylan Broussard, Thomas Warren, Jessica Broussard, Kailey Westbrooks, and Ashley Westbrooks; sisters, Gloria Anderson and her husband, Tony and Debbie Powell and her husband, Ricky, both of Vidor; brother, Richard “Blue” Conner and his wife, Mary, of Rose City; and step-mother, Carolyn Conner of Beaumont.

A gathering of Mr. Conner’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Broussard’s, with entombment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
