Johann Trimble Daniels 
June 23, 1933 - April 16, 2013

Johann Trimble Daniels, 79, of Tyler, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Azalea Trails Assisted Living, Tyler.  She was born on June 23, 1933, in Rayville, Louisiana, to Verdene Missouri Hooks Cook and Ray Toliver Cook.  Johann was retired from the City of Kountze as tax assessor collector and had been a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Kountze before moving to Tyler three years ago.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Robin Trimble Geese and her husband, Jeff, of Tyler; sons, Wayne Daniels and his wife, Sue, of Kountze and Carlton Trimble of Lumberton; grandchildren, Meredith Geese Gadberry of Tyler, K.C. Trimble of Nederland, and Rodney Daniels, Brandon Daniels, and Shelley Daniels Freesmeyer, all of Kountze; and several great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.

 

 A gathering of Mrs. Daniels’ family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, 1015 South Pine Street, Kountze.  A private family committal will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
