James “Randy” Randall Jackson, 55, of Spring Branch, died Saturday, April 6, 2013.  He was born on July 17, 1957, in Kountze, to Vernelle Cammack Jackson and Wesley J. Jackson.  Randy was a 1975 Silsbee High School graduate and had worked for Santa Fe Railroad in Silsbee.  He later became a certified welding inspector for Bechtel Corporation.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jackson; children, Reverend Wesley Jackson and his wife, Alesha, of North Little Rock; Tiffany Danielle Jackson of Baton Rouge; and Jason Kyle Jackson and his wife, Jaclyn, of Texas;  grandchildren, Isabella, Branton, Annabell, Chrislyn, Cameron, Collin, Caitlyn, Dylan, Tyler, Cameron, Madalee, Bubba, Kimble, and Jakob; brothers, Reverend Tommy Jackson and his wife, Ann, of Highlands and Larry Jackson of Silsbee; sister, Jan McKinney and her husband, Pete, of Silsbee; stepchildren, Zachary, Charlie, and Cassie Shipman; and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Jackson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at First Pentecostal Church, Highway 92 North, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the church, with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee.
