Wilbert “Pee Wee” Hargrave, Jr., 76, of Beaumont, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on November 1, 1936, in Crowley, Louisiana, to Enola Monceaux Hargrave and Wilbert Hargrave, Sr., and had been a longtime resident of the area. Pee Wee was a retired parts manager with Sour Lake Motor Company.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Verna Hargrave; son, Minus Hargrave and his wife, Judy, of Beaumont; daughter, Cindy Phillips and her husband, Terry, of China; grandchildren, Cody Hargrave, Courtney Hargrave, Colby Hargrave, Samantha Phillips, and Tyler Phillips; great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Hargrave; and sister, Laura Simon.

Pee Wee is preceded in death by his parents.

A committal for Mr. Hargrave was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
