Rae Ann White, 60, of Hamshire, died on Monday, March 18, 2013, at Winnie Community Hospital. She was born on December 28, 1952, in Grand Island, Nebraska, to Mable Duering VanCleave and Gene VanCleave.

Rae Ann loved to fish and ride horses, but she loved her children, grandchildren, and friends the most. Rae Ann had a rough life, but inside she was like a diamond of beautiful brilliance, intelligent, compassionate, loving, and she will be missed by all.

She is survived by her mother, Mable VanCleave of Grand Island, Nebraska; husband, Terry Foreman of Hamshire; sons, Adam VanCleave of Hamshire; Jason Melgoza of Kentucky; and Jamie Melgoza and his wife, Joy, of California; daughters, Onie Whatley and her husband, Jimmy, of Winnie and Bree Carr and her husband, Robbie, of Georgetown; grandchildren, Brooke Becker, Seth Melgoza, Noah Melgoza, Keaton Carr, Madison Whatley, Wyatt Whatley, Savannah Rae Carr, and Bradley Scott Carr; sisters, Shelia Leger of Winnie; Sandi Baker and her husband, Glenn; and Gail Williams, all of Grand Island, Nebraska; and numerous other family members and friends.

A gathering of Rae Ann’s family and friends will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
