Louise LeLeux Maggio, 83, of Port Arthur, formerly of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. She was born on July 11, 1929, to Emerida Cormier and Theophilus LeLeux, in Morse, Louisiana. Louise devoted her life to raising her children and caring for her family. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Nederland. Louise enjoyed crocheting, reading, sewing, gardening, cooking, and almost any kind of crafts. She is survived by her daughters, Pauline Youmans Klinger and her husband, Bob, of Nederland; Jane Ericsson and her husband, Arthur, of Houston; and Patricia Maggio Hensley and her husband, Roger, of Port Arthur; sons, David Maggio of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Joe Maggio of Beaumont; brothers, Pierre LeLeux and his wife, Ginnie, of Whittier, California and Vern LeLeux of Lomita, California; grandchildren, Sam Daleo and his wife, Sharon; Alex Rupp and his wife, Tara; Dawn Echols; Michelle Brooks and her husband, Nathan; Michael Maggio and his wife, Alyssa; Dominique Vincent and her husband, Joseph; Travis Hensley; and Duke Youmans and his wife, Tracy; and great-grandchildren, Destiny Echols, Cole Echols, Ty Youmans, and Taylor Youmans. Louise is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Edward Maggio; son, John Edward Maggio; and sisters, Beulah LeLeux, Liz Simon, and brother, Willis LeLeux. A gathering of Mrs. Maggio’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Christian Vigil recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 18, 2013, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
