Robert Henderson Burrow, 51, of Nederland, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on June 23, 1961, in Sulphur, Louisiana, to Myrna Brashers Burrow and James Harvey Burrow. Robert was very kind, loving, and had a great sense of humor. When he wasn’t tinkering with cars or motorcycles, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and waterskiing.

He is survived by his mother, Myrna B. Burrow of Lake Charles, Louisiana; sisters, Susan Steele and her husband, Edward, of Nederland and Jeanie Vail of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; brother, James Michael Burrow; and nephew, Carey Fontenot, both of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; great-nephew, Matthew Fontenot; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Norman and Bernice Brashers and Harvey and Ellender Burrow.

A gathering of Mr. Burrow’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland. His graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Whitehead Cemetery, Crockett.
