Mary Anna Margaret Prietz Rone, 81, of Beaumont, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas-Beaumont. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she was born to Emma Helen Eckstein Prietz and Herman Ernest Prietz on June 2, 1931. Mary retired from Wal-Mart as a cashier in the lawn, garden and sporting goods departments.

Survivors include her daughters, Olivia Beard and her husband, Steve, of Evadale; Cynthia O’Keefe and her husband, Michael, of Beaumont; and Holley Beard and her husband, Clint, of Lumberton; sons, Todd Rone, Sr. and his wife, Sandra; and Kenneth E. Rone and his wife, Kathy, all of Beaumont; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, George Prietz, of Baltimore, Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews in Baltimore.

A gathering of Ms. Rone’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont with interment to follow at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee.
