Patricia Ann Riddle, 68, of Nederland, died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. She was born March 4, 1944, in Lufkin, to Frances Hiemes and William H. Welch, and had been a resident of the area for twenty-five years.

Patricia is survived by her stepsons, John R. Riddle, Jr. and his wife, Jackie, of Port Neches and James D. Riddle and his wife, Eugenia, of Nederland; stepgrandsons, James D. “Dino” Riddle, Jr. and his wife, Mandy; Barrett Riddle; and James Dean Riddle, Jr.; granddaughter, Diana Hooyboer of Elgin; numerous great-grandsons; sister, Mary Lou Hudson of Cibolo, Texas; stepsister, Janet Kilgore; half-sister, Michelle Vasquez of Lufkin; half-brothers, Charles Ray “Bimbo” Welch of Lufkin and Larry E. Welch of Diboll; brother-in-law, Dusty Riddle of Houston; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Johannesson of Warren; aunt, Pauline Martin of Houston; cousins, Paula Sharon Cantrell and Carson Wayne Neuman, both of Houston, and James “Butch” Welch of Longview; and numerous additional cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, John Riddle III.
