Jesse Howard Hurley, 66, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. A native of Port Arthur, he was born on January 3, 1947, to Velma Ruth Laxson Hurley and James Arthur Hurley.

Survivors include his wife of forty-five years, Gayle Girouard Hurley; son, Shawn Hurley and his wife, Shana; daughter, Jessica Legato and her husband, Donald; grandchildren, Emily and Sophie Hurley; and Josie, Joseph and Jill Legato; sister, Sherry Guidry and her husband, Gene; and close nephew, Dusty Bergeron.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Leroy Hurley.

A gathering of Mr. Hurley’s family and friends will be from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013, at Broussard’s Chapel, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
