Joseph Errol Grant, 22, of Kountze, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013.  He was born on February 28, 1990, in Lumberton, to Dinah Elizabeth Roberts Grant and Brian Clay Grant.  A 2008 graduate of Kountze High School, Joe was an apprentice lineman with T & D Solutions in Beaumont.

Survivors include his parents, Dinah and Clay Grant; sisters, Leila Grant of Beaumont, Sharon Grant of Austin, Virginia Walston of Kountze, and Maria Grant of Groves; fiancee’, Wilma Nicole Cox of Kountze; grandparents, John Errol and Charlotte Ann Grant of Kountze; nieces, Azlyn Grant-Brackin and Xula Walston; nephew, Caleb Snider; and numerous aunts, uncles, and other friends.

A gathering of Joe's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 243 South LHS Drive, Lumberton, with interment to follow at Holland Cemetery, Kountze.
