Allen Bruce Morse, 63, of Saratoga, died Sunday, February 17, 2013.  He was born on January 14, 1950, in Silsbee, to Helen Blanche Kellogg Morse and Otto Chesley Morse.  Allen was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam and was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his children, Tonya Rawson and her husband, Kane, of Silsbee and Lee Morse and his wife, Ashley, of Kingwood; grandchildren, Ashton Rawson, April Rawson, Brayden Morse, and Colton Morse; brothers, Sidney Morse of Lake Jackson, Robert Morse of Village Mills, and Alf Flowers III of Saratoga; and sisters, Nancy Ledgerwood of Liberty, Linda Guidry of Orange, Susan Fawvor of Nederland, and Helen Gamble of Sour Lake.

A gathering of Mr. Morse’s family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013,  at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  His graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m., at Felps Cemetery, Thicket.
