Edwin Ray Fountain, Jr., 55, of Beauxart Gardens, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at John Sealy Hospital, Galveston. He was born on May 28, 1957, in Port Arthur, to Myra Harliene Leggett Fountain and Edwin Ray Fountain, Sr., and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Edwin graduated from Nederland High School in 1975. He worked as a pipefitter superintendant in the petroleum industry for thirty-seven years and was a member of Pipefitters Local #195. Edwin enjoyed repairing anything and everything and loved his Harley Davidson’s. He will be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors include his daughter, Katrina Fountain; granddaughters, Rylee and Sophia Livingston; father, Edwin Ray Fountain, Sr., all of Nederland; sister, Phyllis Fountain Earnest and her husband, Ronnie, of Montgomery; nieces, Jamie Trice and her husband, Kent, of Benton, Arkansas and Julie Rodriguez and her husband, Rene, of Conroe; great-nieces, Madison Earnest and Analise Rodriguez; caregiver, Allison Adamson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Harliene Fountain and brother, Terry Fountain.

A gathering of Mr. Fountain’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
