Dixie Marie Hawthorne, 85, of Buna, died Sunday, January 27, 2013. She was born on June 18, 1927, in Buna, to Emily Grace Goodman and Jasper Barton Stanley.

Survivors include her son; Max Hawthorne and his wife, Sharon of Silsbee; daughter, Brenda Marshall and her husband, Lynn of Silsbee; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Lera Turner of Buna.  She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, J.W. Stanley.

Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Antioch Cemetery, FM 1004, Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.
