Thomas Bouck Phillips, 63, of Orange, died Sunday, January 27, 2013. He was born September 3, 1949, to Helen Bouck and Charles Phillips in Port Arthur, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Thomas spent his career working as an engineering draftsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and outdoor activities. Thomas was a loving and kind husband. He will be remembered as someone who was considerate and patient with others, and a man that worried about others, before himself.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Phillips of Orange; children, Larry Tyson and his wife, Elizabeth, of Galveston and Justin Tyson of Orange; grandchildren, Noah Tyson of Austin, Jude Tyson and Addison Tyson, both of Galveston; and brother, Timothy Phillips and his wife, Kathleen, of Groves.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Christopher Phillips.

A private family committal will be held at a later date.
