Julius Paul “J.P.” Charrier, 65, of Winnie died Friday, January 25, 2013, at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.  Born March 11, 1947, in Echo Louisiana, J.P. was the son of Curley and Noddie Permenter Charrier.  J.P. was employed as a truck driver with McKenzie Truck Line for many years and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Charrier of Winnie; sons, Justin Charrier of  Gilmer  and Joch Charrier of Winnie;  daughter,  Brandi Leblanc of  Beaumont; brother, Jerry Charrier and his wife, Deborah of New Orleans, Louisiana; sisters, Linda Juneau of  Cotton Port, Louisiana and Ruby Smith of Alexandria, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Bradon LeBlanc, Blaine LeBlanc and Jaxson Charrier.

A gathering of Mr. Charrier’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.  His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2013, at Broussard’s, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
