Wanda Mary Pollock Davis, 92, died peacefully Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Stone County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Mountain View, Arkansas.  She was born on November 12, 1920, in Beaumont, to Comella Hebert Pollock and John C. Pollock, Sr.  She lived all but the last five years in Beaumont, when she moved to Arkansas to be under the care of family.

Wanda was faithful and active in her church, loved gardening and plants, and her dog, Penny.  She was retired from cafeteria work at Amelia Elementary School.

Survivors include her nieces, Katherine Sue and her husband, Daniel Chand, of Lumberton; Donna Marie and her husband, Thurl Watts and Pamela Annette and Jerry Meinzer, all of Calico Rock, Arkansas; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and loving friends.  She will be missed.

A gathering of Mrs. Davis’ family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  Her graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2013, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
