Barbara Robinett, 67, of Winnie, died Thursday, January 17, 2013, at her home surrounded by loving family. She was born on April 19, 1945, in Bell City, Louisiana to Ora Marie Granger Andrus and Lastie Andrus Sr.

Barbara enjoyed reading, but she loved being with her children, grandchildren, family and friends more than anything.

She is survived by her daughters, Yvette Sonnier and her husband, Darrell, of Winnie, and Suzanne McDonald and her husband, Alan, of Canyon Lake; brother, “Bubba” Lastie Andrus Jr., and his wife, Debra, of Winnie; sisters, Ruby Nell Smith, of Winnie; Julinda Dufton and her husband, Doug, of Fannett; and Debra Snider and her husband, James, of Winnie; grandchildren, Cullen Sonnier and Haylee McDonald; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Doyle Robinett.

A gathering of Mrs. Robinett’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
