Christie Lynn Whisenant Phillips, 55, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She was born on October 29, 1957, in Kountze, to Alline Buckner and R.V. Whisenant.

Survivors include her son, Robbie Phillips and his wife, Jamey, of Beaumont; father, R.V. “Jack” Whisenant and his wife, Myrtis, of Fred; brother, Tim Whisenant and his wife, Donna, of Fred; stepsister, Patricia Schwander of Rockport; stepbrother, Thomas Graham and his wife, Diane, of Fred; and numerous other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her mother; and brother, Jack Steven Whisenant.

Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Buckner Cemetery, FM 417, off Highway 96, six miles south of Center, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.  Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
