Norma E. Howard, 60, of Beaumont, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.  She was born on May 21, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Aurora Licona Conklin and Manuel Conklin.

Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Robert Howard; children, Odessa Russell of Florida, David Cosgrove of Mobile, Alabama, and Danielle Wilson of Robertsdale, Alabama; mother, Aurora Bonner of Mobile, Alabama; grandchildren, Christian Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Amber Hudgins Miller, Elizabeth Russell, Kourtney Cosgrove, Megan Cosgrove, and Jacob Hudgins; great-grandchildren, Faith Wilson, Gage Miller, Brooklyn Miller, and Mason Cosgrove; sister, Irene; and brothers, Fredrick and Troy Conklin.

A gathering of Mrs. Howard’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
