Misty Houp Tamone, 40, of Wichita, Kansas, died Monday, December 24, 2012, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born on May 11, 1972, in Graham, Texas to Nancy and Ralph Houp.

Survivors include her husband, Dominic “Dom” Tamone of Wichita, Kansas; father, Kent Houp and his wife, Iva, of Port Arthur; mother, Nancy Riggs and her husband, Freddy, of Houston; sisters, Amy Yoder and her husband, Sean, of Nederland and Crystal Richardson and her husband, Robert, of Vidor; brother, Jason King of Port Arthur; nieces and nephews, Kyndal, Jackson, and Slate Yoder, Tyler, Booker, and Trinity Falcon, Maddie and Mykah King; and her furry kids, Betty and Fritz.

Misty is preceded in death by her step-father, Mike Shipp; nephew, Dakota Falcon; and many other loved ones.

A gathering of Mrs. Tamone’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Broussard’s.

A private family committal will be held at a later date.
