Edith Sikes, 44, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. A native of Beaumont, she was born on April 12, 1968, to Barbara Allen Sikes and Thomas Sikes.

Survivors include her father, Thomas Sikes and his wife, Amalia; and daughter, Emily Nicole Sikes, all of San Antonio; brothers, Randy Sikes of Vidor, and Mark Sikes and T.J. Sikes,  both of San Antonio; sister, Kathleen Young of Lumberton; and nephews, Waylon Young and Brandon Young.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

A gathering of Miss Sikes’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at a later date.
