Patricia Ann Scott, 64, of Vidor, died Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, she was born on July 16, 1948, to Mary Herron Stratton and Owen Burn Stratton.

Survivors include her husband, Greg Scott of Vidor; son, Kacy Compton and his wife, Crisesth, of Beaumont; stepchildren, David A. Scott and his wife, Sofia, of San Antonio; Shannon Scott of Beaumont; and Sharrah Scott of Vidor; eight grandchildren; sisters, Linda Cox and her husband, Charles, of Beaumont and Joan Carter of Nome; and brother, George Stratton of Nome.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Owen Stratton; and brother, Jackie Stratton.

A gathering of Mrs. Scott’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at LeBleu Cemetery, in Fenton, Louisiana.
