Renee` Tanton Harris, 60, of Evadale, died Thursday, November 29, 2012, in Beaumont.  She was born on August 25, 1952, in Silsbee, to Ernestine Lee and William “Buddy” Tanton.  Renee` was a nurse for Southeast Texas Gastroenterology Associates.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Harris; daughters, Brandi Terry and her husband, Scot, of Evadale and Bridget Montemayor and her husband, Oscar, of Round Rock; grandchildren, Matthew Terry, Michaela Terry, and Jonah Montemayor; mother, Ernestine Tanton of Silsbee; brother, Ricky Tanton and his wife, Melissa, of Silsbee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and sister, Lisa Tanton Ferguson.

A gathering of Mrs. Harris’ family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Broussards, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 3, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at R. S. Farmer Cemetery, Silsbee.
