Christy Jean McClintock Gamage, 61, of Port Arthur, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Cypress Glen East, Port Arthur. She was born on January 28, 1951, to Therese and Louis McClintock in Port Arthur, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Christy attended St. Joseph Elementary School. She graduated from Bishop Byrne High School, class of 1969. Christy was a former member of the Port Arthur Lion’s Club. She is often remembered for having named the Rainbow Bridge in 1957. Survivors include her mother, Therese Provost McClintock; step-son, Trey Gamage; brothers, Michael Louis McClintock and his wife, Mary, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Danny McClintock and his wife, Georgia, of Nederland, Texas, Kelly McClintock of New Iberia, Louisiana and Reverend Jim McClintock of Fannett, Texas; and nieces and nephews, Shaun McClintock, Amber McClintock, Danny McClintock Jr., Eric McClintock, and Ryan McClintock. Christy is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Gamage; and father, Louis McClintock. A gathering of Ms. Gamage’s family and friends will begin at 6:00 p.m., with a Christian Vigil to follow at 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012, at Broussard’s, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4602 Proctor,
