James Anthony “Tony” Talbert, Sr., 65, of Beaumont, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Evergreen Medical Center, Evergreen, Alabama. He was born on July 19, 1947, in South Carolina, to Dorothy Hall Talbert and James Bernard Talbert, and had been a resident of Beaumont since 1974. Tony was a United States Navy veteran and was a retired manager with GE Engineering Services.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Talbert; son, Jamie Talbert and his wife, Jamie Lynn, of Beaumont; daughter, LeeAnn Sauceda and her husband, Ruben, of Conroe; grandchildren, Travis Talbert, Ethan Sauceda, Trey Talbert, and Jacie Talbert; mother, Dorothy Hall Talbert; sister, Carlene Griffin; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Tony is preceded in death by his father, James Bernard Talbert; and brother, Darrell Talbert.

A gathering of Mr. Talbert’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. Following the service at the cemetery, all are invited for a reception at Broussard’s Centré, 1775 Calder, Beaumont.
