John Carroll Kerr, 96, of Beaumont, died Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was born September 23, 1916, to Nancy Gertude Allison Kerr and Sam Kerr, in Leeds, Alabama. John was a machinist for Leas Company.

Survivors include his daughters, Helen Josephine Rye of Clarksville, Tennessee and Laura Evelyn Lee and her husband, Don, of Angier, North Carolina; grandsons, Walter John Naron and his wife, Stacy, of Kentucky; Jody Logan of Beaumont; and Adam Logan and his wife, Laura Beth, of Horn Lake, Mississippi; great-grandchildren, Dovie Naron, John Naron, Kayleigh Logan, Emma Grace Logan, Brayden Logan, and Ala Logan.

Mr. Kerr’s cremation arrangements were handled under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
