Jennie Elizabeth Bonura Mazzola, 99, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Born on February 1, 1913, she was a native and lifelong resident of Beaumont.

Jennie is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ann Bankston and her husband, Bill; and son, Joe M. Mazzola, Jr., all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Regina Rico; Chris Jannise and his wife, Sheila; Jody Jannise and his wife, Traci; and Jennifer Peterson and her husband, Derek; great-grandchildren, Quentin Rico, Christopher J. Jannise, Ryan Jannise, Tyler Jannise, Jordan Peterson, and Jacob Peterson; brother, Louis Bonura; sister, Rosetta Bonura; and many other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mazzola, Sr.; and grandson, Ricky Rico, Sr.

A gathering of Mrs. Mazzola’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a Rosary recited at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., Friday afternoon at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont with Jody Jannise, Chris Jannise, Quentin Rico, Tyler Jannise, Ryan Jannise, and Sam Haviland serving as pallbearers. Christopher Joseph Jannise will serve as honorary pallbearer.
