David Lloyd King, 59, of Beaumont, died on Thursday, November 15, 2012. He was born on October 28, 1953, to Mary Basden King, in England, and had been a resident of the Beaumont area for thirty years. David retired from American Valve and Hydrant.

Survivors include his brothers, Bill Basden and his wife, Shelly, of New Mexico and James Basden of Beaumont; sister, Mary Ellis of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Mr. King’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
