Nancy Loretta Allmon, 77, of Spring, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, November 9, 2012. She was born October 9, 1935, in Kosse, to parents, Archie Davis Williams and Lillian Oneita Dickey Williams. On October 9, 1953, she married the love of her life Boliver “Bob” Allmon and they celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary shortly before his passing. They lived in Channelview for thirty-two years before moving to Hankamer and lived there for the next seventeen years. She recently moved to Spring, to live with her daughter while receiving treatments at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, The Woodlands. She is survived by son, Reverend Boliver Earl Allmon, Jr. and his wife, Karen Naomi Allmon; their children, Boliver Earl Allmon, III and his wife, Arielle Michelle Allmon; Michael Allen Allmon; Samuel Ryan Allmon; and Christina Marie Allmon; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Thornton and her husband, Timothy Wayne Thornton; and their children, Erin Ashley Thornton and Kaitlyn Brooke Thornton; Rick’s sons, Dallas Glenn Allmon and Tyler Lynn Allmon. She leaves behind to celebrate her life, brothers and sisters both by birth and by marriage and a host of other family and friends. Loretta is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and son, Ricky “Rick” Glenn Allmon. A gathering of Mrs. Allmon’s family and friends will be celebrated from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Sweet Home Baptist Church, Highway 61 at corner of Farm to Market 1663, Hankamer. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012, at the church. Her internment to follow at Abshire Cemetery, Hankamer. .
