Adam Joseph LaBove, 94, of Winnie, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at The Arboretum, Winnie. He was born on May 23, 1918, in Port Neches, to Natalie East LaBove and Van LaBove.

Adam was a farmer all his life who enjoyed making wood crafts, picnic furniture, rocking horses, and carpentry work.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Joy LaBove of Winnie; grandchildren, Venetia Johnson and Tiffany Sandstrum; great-grandchildren, Katherine Sandstrum, Dave Sandstrum, Adam Johnson, Matt Johnson, and Mollie Johnson; and numerous other family members and friends.

A gathering of Mr. LaBove's family and friends will begin at 8:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2012, at Broussard’s, 134 west Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
